Kaspaliste needs KDE (tested with v3.14),
QT (tested with v3.23), and postgresql (tested with v7.4.1).
This is a beta version. It was tested on a debian (sid) installation. The recommended compiler
is gcc 3.3.3.
Please go to the sourceforge download section to download the latest release.
Jaap Boender kindly contributed a FreeBSD port:
http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/print/kaspaliste
The old 0.42 and 0.35 versions for KDE v2.2 and KDE v1.x are still available:
kaspaliste-0.35.tar.bz2
kaspaliste-0.42.tar.bz2
Be aware that these packages need gcc 2.95. Redhat, Mandrake: gcc 2.96 won't work.
A complete rewrite of the application is on the way. The working title is 'literature'. It is already
fairly stable and useable but the database format may still change in the future. For this reason it is not
advisable to use it for real work. You can download a snapshot
(literature-snapshot-040228.tar.bz2) or access the
cvs via
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/kaspaliste login
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/kaspaliste co literature
to download the latest development version. Note that these files may not compile at all.
There is no cvs-password. Simply press enter.
Read the files COPYING for the conditions of the licence and INSTALL for compiling and installation.
